Photographs Medeltidsveckan: 2002 - 2007

Medeltidsveckan 2007 has ended on the last day of week 32. New photos are being added to the site in a slow pace. This Medieval festival in Visby on the beautiful island Gotland in Sweden is the place to go. Visby is a city with a huge stone ring wall, where each year thousands of people visit the festival dressed in medieval clothes. When you walk around in Visby, you are transported back into Medieval times. At the Medieval Fair you can buy Medieval clothes, and accessories, eat Medieval food and of course make photos.
The best way to enjoy Medeltidsveckan is to be dressed in Medieval clothes and take part in the parades, walk around the market and hang out with friends in Kaplitelhusgården..
Medeltidsveckan is packed with activities, music and jesters. Poeta Magica is a returning group. Just like Gycklargruppen Pax, a group of talented young jesters, Gycklargruppen LEeR performs at various events in Visby. One of the highlights is the jousting tournament. There are fire shows and spontaneous concerts. The smell of smoke is omnipresent. At the Medieval market you can eat roast wild boar, glazed apples and much more.
At the Medieval pub / restaurant Clematis you can relive Medieval times in a roaring environment with fire blowers, belly dancers, musicians, people singing and a stockade.

Blackmore's Night gave a stunning concert at De Vereeniging in Nijmegen. The band was at drift in this totally acoustic performance. The audience heard a very special guitar solo from Ritchie Blackmore during Fires at Midnight. The site also shows photos from the 2005 Amsterdam Concert.

Photographs Eric Steckel Band Summer Tour 2007 and Holland Tour 2006.

The Eric Steckel Band performed at several venues in The Netherlands. Jaixa-Imaging made photos at Bluesclub XXL - Wageningen, Café De Weegbrug - Roermond and the Zoetermeer Bluesfestival. In 2006 Eric and his band had a concert in Zoetermeer at de Boerderij, it was an electrifying concert with fantastic music.

The Krissy Matthews Band was at Bluesclub XXL in Wageningen for their first concert in the Netherlands. Photos can be found at the concert section of the site. Updated on March 15 2008.
