The photos on this page are from a reenactment of scenes from Medieval court cases. Dick Wase, the creator of these plays and director of the group is one of the leading experts at Gotlandic Medieval history. Theater group Wats plays scenes about everyday happenings that lead to "crimes". As a final there is a medieval trial, where several of the "criminals" are judged. The scenes are actually quite authentic, the material used comes from Medieval sources from the Visby archives.
