Kapitelhusgården
My most favorite place during Medeltidsveckan is Kapitelhusgården.
There is a great atmosphere there. Kapitelhusgården is the chapter
house courtyard in Drottensgatan. Here you can take part in crafts
courses, eat (try Skänktallrik), drink and watch craftsmen and women
perform their skills, buy medieval jewelry, music instruments,
clothes and artifacts. There is also an exhibition 'Invasionen 1361'
about the ordeal King Waldemar put Visby through. The last photo
shows a skull found in the mass graves outside the ring wall. See
the real thing at Kapitelhusgården at Invasionen 1361, there is much
more to see. Entry price is very reasonable.
