Kapitelhusgården or in English 'The Chapterhouse Courtyard', I visited the place in the morning, Kapitehusgården is closed to the public at that time, but there are workshops for interested participants. These workshops are meant to learn skills that were used in the Middle Ages. At the Calligraphy workshop it was quite remarkable that there were so many young participants. I talked with workshop leader Margareta Hoas about this. You sometimes hear complaints about kids and adolescents not being able to focus on one task and that everything needs to be fast. Margareta said that on her classes when she visits schools to do the same workshop she usually experiences the same responses as I witnessed that morning: pure focus and dedication.
