The Medieval Market in Visby is the place to be if you want to buy
something Medieval. There are wonderful shops where you can buy
clothing, shoes, cutlery and other things. Of course there is the
occasional junk you find on every market. But mostly the shops are
doing their best to be quite authentic. It is also a meeting place
for people who like to wander around and have a chat. In the
afternoon there is usually some music. Here is a small impression of
the market. On the market area there are also some camps of
reenactment groups, like Hansevolk zu Lübeck, which you will find at
